THE AUTHOR: Jane Amachi
JANE AMACHI was born in England and has a business degree. She started her lively career with a short spell riding elephants in a show in Spain, before moving to Paris where she worked for IBM for 10 years. Next she moved to the south-west of France, where she lectured in English at two engineering schools and then formed her own company. Now she is a freelance translator and writer, and lives near Toulouse with her husband Ray and large sheepdog Teddy.
